An eclectic combination of old and new
M+F have had a relationship with this JSE listed, blue-chip client, going back 20+ years. Over the period we have supplied them with new furniture items, nationally across South Africa, as well as into their regional offices throughout Southern Africa.
For this project, our client was looking to refurbish their Johannesburg Head Offices’, executive and client interfacing, meeting and boardroom areas.
We had the benefit of insight into their asset registry of existing furniture. They owned a selection of genuine, antique furniture pieces, in various states of disrepair, scattered across their various offices.
The opportunity to refurbish these pieces for the new environment immediately excited us.
Our proposal included the refurbishing of existing antique tables, servers and select upholstery pieces; paired together with new, sophisticated, leather-upholstered, imported chairs from our global partner Orangebox. We felt that the combination would not only be aesthetically pleasing but would give new life to some beautiful old pieces. Saving money and being environmentally conscious, linking back to their commitment and deep-rooted history of operations in Southern Africa.
The client loved the idea and immediately gave us the go-ahead to commence with the project.
Once pieces were identified and finishes and specifications agreed upon, we commenced with project planning. Ensuring a smooth and seamless implementation. Areas being refurbished were ‘live’ and each room was treated in a phased approach to ensure minimal downtime was incurred.
The result - a beautiful project that we’re exceptionally proud of, and more importantly - an ecstatic client. A true testament to our unwavering belief to acting in our client’s best interests.
